Sunrise Avenue was a rock band from Finland that was formed in 2002. The band’s original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Samu Haber, guitarist Raul Ruutu, bassist Riku Rajamaa, keyboardist Osmo Ikonen, and drummer Sami Osala.

They gained popularity in Finland with their debut album “On the Way to Wonderland” in 2006, which spawned hit singles such as “Fairytale Gone Bad” and “Forever Yours”. The album was a commercial success, reaching platinum status in Finland.

The band continued to release successful albums, including “Popgasm” in 2009, “Out of Style” in 2011, and “Unholy Ground” in 2013. They also achieved international success, particularly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Throughout their career, Sunrise Avenue toured extensively, performing in numerous countries and at various music festivals. They were known for their energetic live performances and their ability to connect with their audience.

In 2019, Sunrise Avenue announced that they would be disbanding after a farewell tour. The band released their final album, “The Best of Sunrise Avenue”, in October 2019, which featured their greatest hits and new tracks.

Although Sunrise Avenue has officially disbanded, their music continues to be loved by fans around the world, and they remain one of Finland’s most successful rock bands.
