Toni Basil is an American singer, actress, choreographer, dancer, and filmmaker, best known for her multi-million-selling worldwide smash hit “Mickey”. The song topped the charts in the US, Canada and Australia and made it to the top ten in several other countries. She has collaborated as a coreographer with David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Talking Heads, the Monkees and Frank Sinatra.
“Mickey” was entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the ground-breaking singles of the 1980s.
