Thomas Rhett (Atkins) is an American country music singer and songwriter.
As the son of singer Rhett Atkins, Thomas grew up knowing famous singers including Tim McGraw and Brooks & Dunn. After learning to play drums while attending junior high school, Rhett would later go on stage with his father and play. In high school, he was part of a band named The High Heeled Flip Flops. By the age of 20 he was pursuing a career in music (having dropped out of college) and started songwriting for the likes of Jason Aldean. Thomas Rhett’s has been nominated for several country music awards.
