Third Day was a Christian rock band formed in Marietta, Georgia during the 1990s.
In 1991, Mac Powell and Mark Lee formed Third Day as a Christian music group with pianist Billy Wilkins and guitarist August McCoy.
The band released their album Third Day and sold 20,000 copies. It was released again in later years and attained sales of over 300,000. The band was inducted in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009. Their 10th album “Move” (2010) included the track “Children Of God”
