Rock Kills Kid are an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2003 and consists of members Jeff Tucker (vocals), Sean Stopnik (guitar), Jamie Schefman (bass), and Reed Calhoun (drums).
They gained popularity with their debut album, “Are You Nervous?” which was released in 2006. The album featured the hit single “Paralyzed,” which received airplay on alternative rock radio stations.
Their sound is characterised by energetic guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics. Influenced by punk rock and new wave bands, Rock Kills Kid’s music often tackles themes of youth, alienation, and self-discovery.
However, despite their early success, Rock Kills Kid disbanded in 2008 after struggles with their record label and internal conflicts. Since then, the members have pursued other musical projects, with Jeff Tucker releasing solo music under the name Tall Tales and the Silver Lining.
Although their time as a band was relatively short-lived, the group left behind a legacy of punk rock music that continues to resonate with fans of the genre.
