Righteous Brothers (The) were an American musical harmony duo (Billy Medley and Bobby Hatfield) who were most famous for their songs ‘Unchained Melody’ and ‘You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling’ (which was used on the soundtrack in the 1980’s film Top Gun)

They began performing together in 1962 as part of a five-member group called the Paramours, but then embarked on a recording career as a duo as ‘The Righteous Brothers’. Their most active recording period was in the 1960s and 70s.

They had their first hit with the 1964 song “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling“,  with other notable hits include “Ebb Tide“, “Soul and Inspiration” and “Unchained Melody”.

In 2016, Medley reformed The Righteous Brothers with singer Bucky Heard and they played to sell out venues in the United States.
