Prince Buster was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and producer. It is said that he records he released in the 1960s influenced and shaped the course of Jamaican contemporary music.

As a youngster he performed as part of Frankie Lymon’s Sing and Dance Troupe.

In 1961, Campbell released his first single “Little Honey” / “Luke Lane Shuffle” whilst also producing for other artists.

The UK band “Madness” take their name from one of his releases and they covered some of his songs.
