Pat Benatar ( January 10, 1953) is a U.S. singer, songwriter, actress, and four-time Grammy Award winner. She has two RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums, five platinum albums, three gold albums, and 15 Billboard Top 40 singles, including the Top 10 hits “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”, “Love Is a Battlefield”, “We Belong”, and “Invincible”.
Pat Benatar began her career as a lounge singer and built up her profile through regular nightclub appearances at a comedy club called ‘Catch a Rising Star’ while recording jingles on the side. In her 1979 debut album In the ‘Heat of the Night’, yielded two popular singles “Heartbreaker” and “I Need a Lover”
Her career really took off in the 1980’s when she released several successful albums and chart topping singles across the globe.
She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2022.
