Loreen – Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui  (born 16 October 1983), known professionally as Loreen is a Swedish pop singer and music producer. Representing Sweden, she won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, with her entry “Euphoria“. The song reached number one in several countries, including Germany and Sweden. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, she sang as the opening act in the first semi-final and as the interval act in the grand final.

In 2023 her song “Tattoo” won the competition with 583 points, making Loreen the first female artist to win the contest twice.

Loreen has released several other albums and singles, and been awarded multiple awards, including a Grammy. She also received the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Swedish Act twice.

Loreen is an advocate for LGBT rights and in 2021, she was appointed as Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She is an active supporter of the Swedish radiation protection project and has spoken out against the anti-immigrant rhetoric of the 2018 elections in Sweden. She is admired for her passionate activism as well as her music.
