Lemar Obika (born 4 April 1978), professionally known simply as Obika, is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. Lemar,s has had a run of chart success in the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. He rose to fame after finishing in third place on the first series of British talent show Fame Academy, which was won by songwriter David Sneddon

Lemar has released several studio albums, including a greatest hits collection and a duets album. He has sold over two million records in the UK. His awards include MOBO Awards and BRIT Awards for Best British Urban Act. Over the years, Lemar has shared the stage with Beyoncé, Lionel Richie, Mary J Blige, George Benson, and Justin Timberlake, amongst others.

Lemar is an active philanthropist, working with various charities including Children in Need, Comic Relief and the Prince’s Trust. In 2013, he was appointed an MBE for his services to music and charity.
