Kooks (The) are a British British rock band who released their debut ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ in 2006, which was a major hit peaking at number two in the charts. The Kooks found themselves winning the award for Best UK & Ireland Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2006 and picking up a nomination at The Brit Awards for the single “She Moves in Her Own Way”. Their follow-up album Konk (2008) debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, it recorded first week sales of 65,000, achieving gold status in both the UK and Ireland.
In April and May 2017 The Kooks embarked on a US and UK tour to mark their tenth anniversary as a band.
