JP Cooper (John Paul Cooper born 1 November 1983) is an English singer and songwriter.
Cooper was born and brought up in Manchester in the north of England. He developed an interest in music in his teens, taught himself to play guitar and formed a rock band while still at school.
He is well-known for featuring on the Jonas Blue single “Perfect Strangers”. The song was certified platinum in the UK.
His debut full-length album, Raised Under Grey Skies, was released in 2017, and featured the singles “September Song,” “She’s on My Mind,” and “Passport Home.” He continued to release singles from the album the following year.
