JOHN LEGEND

John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, musician and actor.   Prior to the release of his debut album, he collaborated with many artists but for his solo work, he earned a Billboard Hot 100 number-one single with “All of Me” in 2013 as well as the song peaking at number two in the United Kingdom. He won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2015 for writing the song “Glory” from the film Selma. He has also won ten Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award. In 2007, Legend received the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2017 he received a Tony Award for co-producing Jitney for the Broadway stage. He has been awarded an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony which makes him the first black man to win a competitive ‘EGOT’

In 2016 John Legend released his 6th studio album and toured extensively to promote it.

Legend was a coach on season 16 of the American show ‘The Voice’ and went on to win with the singer Maelyn Jarmon.
