Jake Owen is an American country music singer and songwriter who released his first album in 2006 but it wasn’t until 2011 that he achieved his first number one hit on the country charts with the title track to his third studio album “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”. His fourth studio album produced the number one single “Beachin'”.

Jake Owen has also toured as an opening act for several other country artists, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Sugarland, Keith Urban, and Jason Aldean.

Jake grew up listening to country music and was inspired by artists such as Garth Brooks and George Strait. After graduating from high school, Jake attended Florida State University where he played baseball. However, he was forced to leave the team after suffering an injury.

Jake then turned his attention to music and began performing at local clubs and bars. He eventually caught the attention of country music producer Jay Joyce who helped him sign a record deal with RCA Nashville. Jake released his debut album ‘Startin’ with Me’ in 2006 which included the hit single “Yee Haw.” The album was a success and Jake quickly became a popular name in country music.

Jake has released several studio albums and has also achieved success as a songwriter.
