Icona Pop is a Swedish electropop duo which a formed in 2009 by Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo who met by chance at a party. They signed to TEN Music Group and their biggest hit to date has been “I Love It”. Since September 2012, the duo have been based in the United States
In 2013, the duo released their new single “Girlfriend”. Icona Pop received two Teen Choice awards for Choice Music Breakout Group and Choice Single: Group and in 2013 they released “All Night”.
Since then they have collaborated and toured with stars such as Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Katy Perry and Tove Lo.
