Haley Reinhart (born September 9, 1990) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She first rose to prominence after placing third in the tenth season of American Idol in 2011.

Reinhart began her musical career by performing in musical theatre as a child. As a teenager, she began to focus on more contemporary styles such as jazz, blues, and rock.
In 2008, Haley Reinhart became a contestant on American Idol. She eventually placed third behind Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. During her time on American Idol she performed many popular songs such as “House Of The Rising Sun” and an original song called “Free”.
Reinhart signed a recording contract with and has released a string of successful albums. She released her first album, ‘Listen Up!’, in 2012, which was certified gold in Japan. Her single from the album, “Can’t Help Falling in Love“, peaked at number 8 on the U.S. Billboard Pop chart.
In 2015, Reinhart released her second album, ‘Better’, which featured her hit single, “Baby It’s You“. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
In 2020, Reinhart released her next album, ‘What’s That Sound?’, which featured her hit single, “For What It’s Worth“. The album peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Outside of her musical career, Reinhart has also acted in films and television series.
