Eden Kane is a singer who rose to fame in the 1960’s.

He was born in India but his family moved to the UK in 1954 and settled in the South East. Coming from a musical family Eden Kane had a talent and when rock and roll came along he wanted to be part of it. Forming a skiffle band with his younger brothers, he played in pubs and clubs and entered a talent contest where he was spotted by a record producer.

He had success in the early 1960s as a pop star appealing to a teenage audience, with hits including “Well I Ask You” which was a UK No. 1 hit in 1961. This was followed by three more top ten hits in the UK “Get Lost”, “Forget Me Not” and “I Don’t Know Why”. He toured around the UK with such stars as Cliff Richard, Billy Fury and Helen Shapiro.

As of 2019 he still toured the UK, taking part in a live show ‘The Solid Gold Rock n Roll Show’ which included stars such as Marty Wilde.
