Duck Sauce is an electronic music duo consisting of American DJ Armand van Helden and Canadian DJ A-Trak. They are best known for their 2010 single “Barbra Streisand“. In the UK the song peaked at number 3. and it reached Number 1 on the Australian ARIA Club Chart.
Armand Van Helden emerged in dance music in the mid-1990s. He released his first official single release was the 1991 track “Witch Doktor” which peaked at #3. His 1999 single “You Don’t Know Me” topped the UK pop singles chart and #2 on the US dance chart. He also became successful as a remixer.
Alain Macklovitch, aka DJ A-TRak, is a prominent DJ and a record label owner. He helped run the label Audio Research from 1997 through to 2007 after which he formed a new label Fool’s Gold. A-Trak was hired as Kanye West’s personal tour DJ in 2004. A-Trak became known for incorporating elements of hip hop music with his dance music mixes and was listed as the seventh best American DJ in 2013 by DJ Times magazine.
Duck Sauce are signed to the Fool’s Gold label.
