Disney Encanto is a 2021 American computer-animated musical fantasy comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios with original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The film follows a family, the Madrigals, helmed by a matriarch whose children and grandchildren receive magical gifts from “the miracle” that helps them serve their community in rural Colombia—except for Mirabel Madrigal, who does not receive a magical gift. When Mirabel learns the family is in danger of losing their magic, she sets out to find out what is happening, to save her family and their magical house.
