Chvrches are a synth-pop band from Scotland, UK. Formed in 2011 by keyboardist/vocalist Iain Cook and including band members Martin Doherty, and Lauren Mayberry.
2012 saw the release of their debut single “The Mother We Share” and later that year, Chvrches were among the acts selected for the BBC’s Sound of 2013.
