Cat Burns is a British singer and songwriter.
Burns recorded her debut EP Adolescent at the age of sixteen while she was still studying at The BRITs School.
Cat is a talented songwriter who draws upon gospel influences, pop inspirations and a love of guitar-led and indie music too.
Burns gained widespread attention in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown when she began posting covers and original songs on TikTok. “Go” began to go viral and she ended up securing a record deal.
She cites Ed Sheeran, India Arie and Tori Kelly as a few of her biggest inspirations. Her song “Go” was released in July 2020 and reached the number 2 position in the UK singles chart, and is included in her EP Emotionally Unavailable.
