Audioslave was a supergroup formed in 2001 with members of Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine. Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2002 to great critical acclaim, earning them several Grammy nominations. They went on to release three more albums, Out of Exile (2005), Revelations (2006) and their final album, Revelations II (2007).

Their unique sound blended elements of hard rock, metal, funk and soul, and their songs often incorporated socially conscious lyrics. Audioslave gained a large following for their powerful live performances, often playing in front of huge audiences around the world.

Their most successful single was “Cochise”, which reached #1 on the modern rock charts in 2002. Other popular songs include “Like a Stone”, “Show Me How to Live”, “Be Yourself”, and “Doesn’t Remind Me”.

The band has not performed together in over a decade, and it is unknown if they will ever reunite. However, they have earned a place in history as one of the most innovative and influential rock bands of the 21st century.
