Ahmed Chawki is a Moroccan singer, songwriter and producer.
Chawki began his career in the early 2000s. He had a music band named La Paloma which mainly focused on Arabic and Moroccan music. In 2014 he was featured in a football-themed song “Magic in the Air” by Magic System which became a hit in France and Belgium.
Ahmed had been composing and singing poems since childhood. He went on to study at the National School of Theatre and Singing where he won several awards. He then enrolled at the Institute of Fine Arts specialising in classical and Western singing, while studying musical theory.
In the early 2000’s he formed a band called La Paloma. After moderate success, the group disbanded and the members went on to pursue solo -careers.
In 2013 his work was noticed by the record producer RedOne and Chawki was featured on the Pitbull song “Habibi I Love You“. 2014 saw the release of Ahmed Chawki’s massive solo single “Notre Moment (Time Of Our Lives)”
