Afroman – Joseph Edgar Foreman (born July 28, 1974) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, comedian and musician.

He is best known for his songs “Because I Got High“and “Crazy Rap” both of which were featured on his album ‘The Good Times’.

Afroman showed an interest in music from an early age, playing drums and guitar at church. As a young teen he wrote and recorded songs to sell to his school mates.

In 1998 his first album, My Fro-losophy, was released followed by Because I Got High in 2000. The title track became a hit and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance in 2002.

The single “Crazy Rap” from his third album charted across Europe and reached the top 10 in the UK.
