Vaults Backing Tracks – One Day I’ll Fly Away … One Last Night
Vaults are an electropop trio from London, UK, consisting of lead singer Blythe Pepino, Barney Freeman and Ben Vella.
The band formed in 2013 and digitally posted their first track “Cry No More”. They subsequently released “Premonitions” in 2014 on the label National Anthem. They performed at several UK festivals during 2014. The band is best known for “One Last Night” that featured on the “Fifty Shades Of Grey” movie soundtrack (2015). In 2015, Vaults supported the Everything Everything tour and Paolo Nutini’s tour. In November 2016, the band covered Randy Crawford’s 1980 hit ballad, “One Day I’ll Fly Away”, for the UK’s iconic John Lewis’ Christmas advert (2016).
The band’s debut album, “Caught In Still Life” was released on December 2, 2016. They disbanded in 2017. Pepino went on to perform with the band Mesadorm (originally founded in 2015), who released debut album, Heterogaster, on 11 May 2018, while Ben Vella formed the band Child of the Parish.
