Melanie C (Mel C) came to fame as “Sporty Spice” in the hit 90’s girl group The Spice Girls.
Since leaving the group she has become a successful artist in her own right having released plenty of Albums and singles. Her first foray into the solo artist zone was to join up with Bryan Adams with the soft rock hit “When You’re Gone”, which was followed by her first album “Northern Star”. She also duetted with X-Factors Matt Cardle in 2013 with “Loving You”.
Melanie C has also been in stage roles playing Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers and Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar.
2020 saw the promised release of her eighth album which was mainly recorded remotely from the studio due to a global pandemic.
