Matt Monro was a British singer with a voice akin to that of Frank Sinatra. Born in 1930 Matt Monro performed from an early age to small local audiences but it wasn’t until the late 1950’s that he became a commercial success.
Throughout his 30-year career, he filled cabarets, nightclubs, music halls, and stadia all over the world and covered many of the stage and screen songs from the 1950’s and 1960’s as well as releasing a string of LP’s and popular singles.
