Mark Chesnutt is an American country music singer known for his traditional country and honky-tonk influences which he combines with newer elements to create his style.
By the late 1980s, he had released eight singles, which would later be combined together to help create the album Doing My Country Thing. Between 1990 and 2002, he had his greatest chart success with a total of eight albums, twenty Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, of which eight reached No. 1 and his cover of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” also topped the country charts.
