Lady Day At Emerson’s Bar and Grill is a play by Lanie Robertson about Billie Holiday (who was known as ‘Lady Day’). The play is set in Philadelphia in March 1959. Billie Holiday is performing in a bar and sings accompanied by Jimmy Powers on the piano. She recounts some of the events in her life which had been somewhat eventful.

A film based on the play was released in 2016.
