Kelis Rogers (born August 21, 1979), is an American singer, songwriter and chef. Kelis achieved international success with her 1999 debut album, Kaleidoscope, but it was the release of the single ‘Milkshake’ from her third album that garnered her the most commercial success.
She performs and writes in various genres and has collaborated with R&B and hip hop acts, electronic and dance producers, pop and rock acts and indie and alternative musicians.
Kelis has been recognised at the Brit Awards, Q Awards, NME Awards and Grammy Awards ceremonies.
