Keith Urban is a country music singer / songwriter and musician. Born in New Zealand he began learning guitar at a young age and won several talent competitions while still in elementary school.
He had minor success in Australia before he moved to the United States of America in the early 1990’s where his career took off. He has won a mass of music awards and nominations including Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, a People’s Choice and an American Music Award and a Golden Globe. He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
He was a long serving judge on American Idol
Keith Urban married actress Nicole Kidman in 2006. In October 2013, Urban introduced his own signature line of guitars and accessories.
