Juice Wrld (born Jarad Anthony Higgins) was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Higgins was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 2, 1998, and grew up in the city’s South Side. He began making music in his bedroom as a teenager, and first gained local attention when his song “Lucid Dreams” went viral on SoundCloud in 2017.

Juice WRLD signed with the record label Grade A Productions and Interscope Records in March 2018. He released his debut album, ‘Goodbye & Good Riddance’, in May of that year. The album included the single “Lucid Dreams“, which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

His second album, ‘Death Race for Love’, was released in March 2019. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and included the singles “Robbery” and “Hear Me Calling“. He also collaborated with Justin Bieber on “Wandered To LA” and Ellie Goulding on “Hate Me

Higgins died on December 8, 2019, at the age of 21, after suffering a seizure at Chicago’s Midway International Airport.
