James Arthur was the winner of Series 9 of the X-Factor (UK). His single, a cover of Tulisa’s Impossible, earned him a number 1 best seller and a Brit Award. Before he entered The X Factor, James Arthur made it into the final 200 contestants of The Voice (UK) 2011, but didn’t progress any further.
The release of his debut album saw him reach number 2 in the UK album charts and 2014 saw him embarking on his first Europe wide tour. A controversial Twitter post almost destroyed his career but his second album Back From The Edge was released in 2016 with the lead single Say You Won’t Let Go reaching number 1 in the UK charts.
