Jade BirdJade Elizabeth Bird (born 1 October 1997) is an English singer, songwriter and musician.

She started to learn to play guitar as a teenager and at age 16 began attending the BRIT School from which which she graduated in 2016.

She spent time gigging around the London folk scene before recording a demo tape of 13 songs. This led to her signing a management deal with Glassnote Records.

In 2017, she released her first extended play (EP) titled ‘Something American’. This received a positive reception and she was listed in the BBC Sound of 2018 list at the end of that year.

As a rising star Jade Bird performed alongside the likes of First Aid Kit and London Grammar in 2017 and supported Hozier on their ‘Wasteland Baby’ Tour in 2018.

2019 saw the release of her debut album ‘Jade Bird’ and this was followed by ‘Different Kinds Of Light’ in 2020.
