Gusttavo Lima (born September 3, 1989) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and record producer. He is one of the most successful and internationally renowned singers in Brazil.
He became a soloist in a choir at only nine years of age.
Lima began his career as a member of the musical group Grupo Tradição, which released three albums. However, he achieved success in 2011 when he released his first solo album, Gusttavo Lima ‘e Você’. The album was a major success and spawned five hit singles. The lead track including “Balada” became a soccer anthem not only in Brazil but across Europe. It reached number one in France, Italy, and Holland.
Since then, Lima has released a few additional studio albums, all of which have achieved great commercial success. He has also produced several successful songs for other artists, including “Deu Onda” by Anitta (2015) and “Romance com Safadeza” by Rouge (2016).
