Fugees (The) were an American jazz-rap, R&B, and reggae trio formed in the late ’80s.
The group consists of Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel, and Lauryn Hill.
Their album The Score arrived in 1996 and contained their hit single “Killing Me Softly” and their cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry”. It went multi-Platinum and topped charts across the globe.
Following their early success the Fugees took a break, pursuing solo endeavours that eventually made the hiatus permanent but they reunited in 2004, and again in 2021 for reunion tours.
