Elenor Jane “Ellie” Goulding (born 30 December 1986) is an English singer-songwriter from Lyonshall in Herefordshire. Ellie is recognised for her unique voice, wonderful vibrato and breathy tones. She has won many awards, including BRIT Award for Best British Female (2014).

Ellie’s first studio album, Lights, debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and was followed by Halcyon (which was later repackaged as Halcyon Days) from which her first UK Number One Single “Burn” was taken. Her cover version of Elton John’s “Your Song” reached Number 2 in the UK Singles Chart. Ellie’s song “How Long Will I Love You?” was released as the Official Song for Children In Need in 2013.
Ellie was chosen to record the song “Love Me Like You Do” for the much anticipated film Fifty Shades of Grey and had major success globally as well as the video being nominated for an MTV music video award in 2015.
