Edward H Dafis was a Welsh language rock band. They were one of the leading figures in the Welsh folk and protest music scene during the 1970s and 1980s.

The band generaly comprised of five members :- Cleif Harpwood, Hefin Elis, Dewi ‘Pws’ Morris, John Griffiths and Charli Britton. They were often joined at live gigs by Geraint Griffiths who provided extra guitar work and vocals.

They gained a dedicated fanbase in Wales and beyond. They also collaborated with various other Welsh musicians and artists, further cementing their place in the Welsh music scene.

Edward H Dafis is considered one of the most influential Welsh bands of their time. Their music continues to resonate with audiences, and their commitment to promoting Welsh culture and language has left a lasting impact on the music industry in Wales.
