Debbie Harry was co founder of the hugely popular 1970’s -’80’s group Blondie. When the group disbanded in 1982, Debbie Harry embarked on a solo career that would span the following decades.
Harry has released five solo albums, acted in several movies and television series and a few commercials. The single “French Kissin’ in the USA” from her first solo album gave Harry her only UK solo top 10 hit although the first single “I Want That Man” (from her second album)was a hit in Europe and Australia and on the US Modern Rock Charts and propelled the album to #12 on the UK chart.
Blondie reunited in the late 1990’s and continue to perform and release new music.
