As an Irish rock band, The Cranberries, fronted by Dolores O’Riordan, also include elements of indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock in their music. Formed in 1990, the bands first album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” was a commercial success and they became one of the biggest rock acts of the 1990’s. In 2003 The Cranberries disbanded citing pursuit of solo careers as the reason, but they reformed in 2010 and toured extensively playing old band numbers, some solo works and new recordings. In 2012 they released the album “Roses”.
