Blackpink is a South Korean girl group who perform a combination of K-Pop, Hip Hip and EDM. They debuted in 2016 with the single album Square One which included the tracks “”Whistle” and “Boombayah”.
Initially their popularity was contained within Korea but after the release of their second single album, entitled Square Two, they became well known farther afield. In 2018, Dua Lipa released “Kiss and Make Up” with Blackpink. The song became the group’s second entry on the UK Singles Chart.
2018 through 2020 saw the group embarking on their first world tour where they visited North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia.
