Beck Hansen (born Bek David Campbell; July 8, 1970), known professionally as Beck, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist.

He is best known for his fusion of genres, including hip-hop, alternative rock, folk, and blues. He released his debut album, Golden Feelings, in 1993, followed by Mellow Gold in 1994. He won two Grammys in 2005 for the song, “Loser,” and at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, he received five nominations and four wins, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for his album, Morning Phase.
