Audio Adrenaline is a Christian rock band that was formed in 1986. The band was originally called A-180, but changed their name to Audio Adrenaline in 1989. They rose to prominence in the mid-1990s with their energetic and catchy blend of rock and pop music.
The original lineup of the band consisted of Mark Stuart on vocals, Barry Blair on guitar, Bob Herdman on keyboards, and Will McGinniss on bass. Over the years, the band saw several lineup changes, with Mark Stuart being the only consistent member.
Audio Adrenaline released their debut album, “Audio Adrenaline,” in 1992. The album was well-received by both critics and fans and helped establish the band as a force in the Christian rock scene. They went on to release several more successful albums, including “Don’t Censor Me” (1993), “Bloom” (1996), and “Some Kind of Zombie” (1997).
In 2007, the band announced their retirement, citing the physical toll of touring and their desire to focus on other aspects of their lives. However, in 2012, they announced a reunion and released a new album, “Kings & Queens,” in 2013.
Throughout their career, the band won numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards and multiple Dove Awards. They are known for their high-energy live performances and their commitment to their faith. Despite their retirement, Audio Adrenaline’s music continues to inspire and entertain fans around the world.
