Alice Cooper (originally a band before going their separate ways) pioneered a theatrical brand of hard rock. Drawing their styling from horror movies, vaudeville and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured all manner of torture implements. Vincent Furnier (lead vocalist) adopted the band’s name as his own name in the 1970s and began an epic solo career which sees him continuing to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide with the dark and horror-themed theatrics that he’s best known for.
On December 15, 2010, it was announced Cooper and his former band would be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
