Aaron Carter was an American singer and actor who gained fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was the younger brother of Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. Aaron began his career at a young age and quickly became a teen pop sensation.

He released his self-titled debut album, “Aaron Carter,” in 1997 when he was just nine years old. The album featured popular tracks like “Crush on You” and was a commercial success, especially in Europe. His second album, “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It),” released in 2000, propelled him to stardom in the United States. It included hit singles like “I Want Candy” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq,” and sold over three million copies in the U.S. alone.

Carter continued to release music throughout the early 2000s, including albums “Oh Aaron” (2001) and “Another Earthquake!” (2002). Besides his music career, Aaron Carter also ventured into acting and appeared on television shows like “Lizzie McGuire” and “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.” He participated in reality television, notably appearing on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2009.

His final album, Blacklisted, was released in November 2022, two days after his accidental drug-related death.
