Marty Stuart is an American country music singer-songwriter, known for both his traditional style, and his rockabilly, honky tonk music. In 1979 he joined Johnny Cash as part of his band and soon enjoyed solo success as well as hits performing with other country musicians, including Travis Tritt and Willie Nelson. He has received multiple Grammy Awards for his work and is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry.

Stuart is host of The Marty Stuart Show, which features traditional country music. The Marty Stuart Show began airing in 2008, and although no new episodes have been produced recently, old episodes of the show are aired.
Each episode features music by Stuart and his band the Fabulous Superlatives. Stuart hosts and produces the 30-minute episodes, with WSM disc jockey and Grand Ole Opry announcer Eddie Stubbs serving as the show’s emcee.
