Cher Lloyd is an English singer who gained international fame after competing in season seven of The X Factor.

Lloyd’s debut single, “Swagger Jagger“, was released in July 2011. Her debut album, ‘Sticks and Stones’, released on 4 November 2011, had a new urban pop sound; it reached number four in the UK Album Chart and sold over 4 million copies globally. Her second studio album, ‘Sorry I’m Late’, was released in May 2014 and became her highest charting album on the UK Albums Chart, peaking at number six. Lloyd left Syco Music in 2014.

By 2015, Lloyd had relocated to Los Angeles, where she began to focus on her songwriting. July 2016 she released the single “Activated” with Universal. After some time away from the limelight she re-emerged in October 2018 with the song “None of My Business.”
