Matt Bianco are a British band formed in 1983. They are mainly known for their success in the mid-1980s and their jazz, Latin-flavoured music. Created by Mark Reilly (vocals), Danny White (keyboard), Kito Poncioni (bass) and vocalist Basia Trzetrzelewska the band called itself “Bronze” before settling on the name Matt Bianco in 1983.

Their debut single – Get Out Of Your Lazy Bed – was released in 1984, along with their debut album ‘Whose Side Are You On?’. The song became the band’s first top 20 hit, peaking at No. 15 on the UK Singles Chart.
