Lauv is a singer, songwriter, and producer from San Francisco, California. He is well-known for his single “I Like Me Better” which peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Lauv began his musical career as a teenager, posting songs on SoundCloud under the name “lauvsongs.” In 2015, he released his first EP, ‘Lost in the Light’, which included the single “The Other.” In 2016, second EP, I Met You When I Was 18, was released. It iincluded the single “I Like Me Better” which as been used in TV commercials and film trailers.

Lauv has toured with Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, and Halsey. He has also collaborated with Charli XCX, Marshmello, and Anne-Marie. In 2019, he released his debut album, ~how i’m feeling~, which included the singles “i’m so tired…” with Troye Sivan and “~feelings~.”
His music has been described as “electropop meets bedroom pop meets heart-on-sleeve singer-songwriter.”
Lauv’s 2022 tour to promote the new album ‘All 4 Nothing’ saw him performing at venues in USA, Canada, South Korea and Thailand.
