Laurel And Hardy
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy were one of the most popular and successful comedy teams of the early to mid-20th century. They are known for their work in films such as The Laurel-Hardy Murder Case (1929), Pack Up Your Troubles (1932), and Sons of the Desert (1933).
Laurel was born in England in 1890 and Hardy in America in 1892. The two men met in 1917 while working for the Hal Roach studio and soon began working together. Laurel was the more creative of the two, writing and directing many of their films. Hardy was the more easy going of the two and his comic timing was impeccable.
